Pool & Spa Leak Detection in the Coachella Valley

Desert evaporation hides real leaks. If your pool drops more than a quarter inch a day, we pressure-test the suction, return, and cleaner lines and pinpoint the break acoustically before anyone touches the decking.

What's included

Step 1: is it actually a leak?

We compare pool loss to a control bucket over 24 hours. In summer, up to a quarter inch a day can be pure evaporation.

Step 2: shell or plumbing?

Running the test with the pump on and off tells us whether the loss is in the structure or in the pressurized lines. Dye testing confirms shell cracks, skimmer separations, and light niche failures.

Step 3: pinpoint and repair

Each line gets pressurized and listened to individually. We mark the exact spot, cut the smallest possible opening, and repair the section.

Pool Leak Detection FAQs

How much water loss is normal?

Roughly a quarter inch a day in peak desert heat. More than that consistently, especially in cooler months, points to a leak.

Can you find a leak under the deck or patio?

Yes. Pressurized lines under concrete are located acoustically, the same way we find slab leaks in a house.

What does pool leak detection cost?

Most pool leak detection runs $250–$500 depending on how many lines have to be isolated, and it's credited toward the repair when we do the work.
